Porta’Vino in The Woodlands is excited to announce our next Winemaker Dinner on June 10th with Duckhorn Vineyards. This will be our final wine dinner of the Spring 2024 semester. There are few better ways to finish off the season than highlighting a Napa Classic!

The evening will feature five wines from Duckhorn Vineyards, paired with a delicious five-course meal crafted to accentuate the wines. Duckhorn representatives will lead the tasting, guide us through the dinner, and visit with every table throughout the evening. A preview of the full menu is below.

First Course

Panzanella Salad

Paired with Decoy Limited Sparkling Rose

Second Course

Brown Butter Seared Scallop with Prosciutto & Melted Leaks

Paired with Duckhorn Chardonnay

Third Course

Chili-lacquered quail with corn cake stuffing

Paired with San Polo Brunello di Montalcino

Fourth Course

Black Cherry Lacquered Pork Belly

Paired with Goldeneye Pinot Noir

Fifth Course

Black Forest Chocolate Cheesecake

Paired with Duckhorn “The Discussion” Cabernet Sauvignon

  1. Go to OpenTable Reservations page (https://tinyurl.com/pvduckhorn), select the 6:30 pm experience time slot - this is the only time available. Under "Indoor Dining," select "Standard."

10-Hour Braised Short Rib on mushroom risotto - slow roasted in red wine & aromatics and served on risotto & mushroom ragu
